Soccer Recap: First Assembly Christian Takes a Loss

First Assembly Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 7-0 to the St. George's Gryphons. While losing is never fun, First Assembly Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 250th, while St. George's are ranked 116th).

First Assembly Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for St. George's, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Coming up, First Assembly Christian will take on Lakeland Preparatory in a tournament on Friday. As for St. George's, they will host Evangelical Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Evangelical Christian's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
