Basketball Recap: Wadena-Deer Creek Comes Up Short

Wadena-Deer Creek lost against Pillager back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The contest between the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines and the Pillager Huskies didn't end well, with the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines falling 67-48. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wadena-Deer Creek's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Pillager, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Wadena-Deer Creek will be playing in front of their home fans against Park Rapids at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pillager, they will challenge Aitkin at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
