Basketball Recap: West Shore Christian Academy Comes Up Short

West Shore Christian Academy was the 43-41 winner over Mount Calvary Christian when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. West Shore Christian Academy took a 57-42 bruising from the Mount Calvary Christian Chargers on Friday. The game marked West Shore Christian Academy's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mount Calvary Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trey Robinson, who posted 21 points. Robinson is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 19 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Josiah Masters, who had 19 points.

This is the second loss in a row for West Shore Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Mount Calvary Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

West Shore Christian Academy and Greenwood will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Mount Calvary Christian, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Harrisburg Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Mount Calvary Christian will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
