Notre Dame was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in Section 4 D Division VII. The Crusaders vanquished Charles O. Dickerson 40-32 earlier in the week.

Groton scaled the state rankings by moving to 171 from 270 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Indians were able to make move up by besting Bainbridge-Guilford 36-6.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Spencer-Van Etten takes on Notre Dame. The Panthers are in first place, while the Crusaders are in fourth place.

Groton took down the Bobcats 36-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
