Basketball Recap: Mica Mountain Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

It's playoff time, and Mica Mountain had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took down the Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks 54-37 on Thursday. The Thunderbolts haven't had any issues with the Nighthawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Several Nighthawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Serenity Hampton, who posted 15 points and seven boards. Hampton is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Molly Walter was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds.
