Basketball Recap: Inter-Lakes Takes a Loss

Inter-Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Gilford Golden Eagles, falling 77-54. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lakers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 82-23 last Wednesday.

Inter-Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Gilford, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.

When Inter-Lakes and Gilford next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Inter-Lakes will try to stop Belmont's five-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Gilford will face off against St. Thomas Aquinas and their four-game winning streak at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
