Basketball Recap: Severna Park Comes Up Short

Severna Park lost against Broadneck back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Severna Park Falcons fell to the Broadneck Bruins 46-40.

Broadneck's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Macie Mcnece, who went 8 of 16 en route to 29 points. The team also got some help courtesy of London Best, who posted 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals.

Broadneck pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Severna Park didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 52-37 victory against Easton on the 9th. As for Broadneck, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 59-28 loss against St. Mary's on the 9th.
