Basketball Recap: Horizon Honors Skates Past Tempe Prep with Ease

Horizon Honors won the last time they faced Tempe Prep and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Horizon Honors Eagles blew past the Tempe Prep Knights, posting a 57-20 victory. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 106th, while the Knights are ranked 287th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Audriana Anglada, who went 8 for 15 en route to 19 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Alicia Londono, who posted five points along with six assists and four steals.

Horizon Honors smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in seven consecutive matchups.

Horizon Honors is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.
