Hardin has gone 8-2 against Warren recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Hornets are taking a road trip to challenge the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. The last three games Hardin has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Things were looking good for Hardin after they put the first run on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Kountze by a score of 5-4.

Meanwhile, Warren was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 6-1 to Orangefield.

Kinley Fife spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned runs on eight hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, Warren saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julia Jeansonne, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Warren's loss dropped their record down to 25-5. As for Hardin, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-16.

Hardin came up short against Warren in their previous meeting back in March, falling 5-2. Can the Hornets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
