Softball Recap: Hill City/Northland Triumphs

While Hill City/Northland put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Nevis. Hill City/Northland walked away with a 3-0 win over Nevis. Those three runs were actually the fewest Hill City/Northland has put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

The victory made it two in a row for Hill City/Northland and bumps their season record up to 12-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Nevis, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Hill City/Northland will be playing in front of their home fans against Cook County at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Nevis, they will head out on the road to face off against Walker-Hackensack-Akeley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
