Soccer Recap: Lutheran Takes a Loss

If Lutheran was riding high fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors came up short against the Southfield Christian Eagles on Tuesday, falling 4-0. Lutheran were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Southfield Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Lutheran has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season. As for Southfield Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lutheran is set to square off against their familiar foe Plymouth Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Southfield Christian will challenge rival Inter-City Baptist at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
