Volleyball Game Preview: Concord Spiders vs. Salisbury Hornets

The Concord Spiders will venture away from home to face off against the Salisbury Hornets at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Concord came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to South Rowan.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-20, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Salisbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against Jay M. Robinson, falling 3-0.

Salisbury's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Concord, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Concord took their win against Salisbury in their previous meeting on September 4th by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spiders since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
