Volleyball Recap: Grand Isle Find Success

Grand Isle's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the V.B. Glencoe Charter Gators, sneaking past 3-2. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The win got Grand Isle back to even at 1-1. As for V.B. Glencoe Charter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Grand Isle will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for V.B. Glencoe Charter, they will square off against Franklin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
