FAU High had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the Santaluces Chiefs as they made off with an 8-0 win. The victory continues a trend for FAU High in their matchups with Santaluces: they've now won five in a row.

FAU High's offense was hitting Santaluces from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Maiya Castillo led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Santaluces' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coincidentally, FAU High and Santaluces will both be playing Atlantic the next time they take the pitch. The Owls will host the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Chiefs will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th.
