Softball Game Preview: Pflugerville Panthers vs. Weiss Wolves

The Pflugerville Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Weiss Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pflugerville has given up an average of 9.9 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Pflugerville is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They came up short against Hendrickson, falling 14-4.

Braelynn Williams made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Jaccard, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Weiss' offense. They lost 10-0 to Dripping Springs on Saturday. The Wolves' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Weiss' defeat dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Pflugerville, their loss dropped their record down to 5-16-1.

Pflugerville couldn't quite get it done against Weiss in their previous meeting back in March as they fell 12-8. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
