Basketball Recap: Lawrence County Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Friday. Lawrence County fell 62-52 to Tullahoma. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Tullahoma this season, with their most recent defeat being a 63-57 loss two weeks ago.

Xavier Farrell was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 28 points and 13 boards for Tullahoma. The matchup was Farrell's seventh in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Khani Johnson, who posted 15 points.

Lawrence County has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-12 record this season. Tullahoma's win bumped their record up to 25-4.

As of now, neither Lawrence County nor Tullahoma have any future games scheduled.
