Union Star proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 14) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Gallatin Bulldogs 7-6. The victory was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won five matches in a row.

Union Star's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Gallatin, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

As of now, neither Union Star nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
