Neosho entered their tilt with Willard on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Willard Tigers. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Carleigh Kinnaird spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on nine hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than six innings in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Neosho got a massive performance out of Avyn Blair, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Journey Arnall, who scored two runs while going 4-for-4.

Neosho was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. The last time their batting average was this high was back in September of 2023.

Neosho's win bumped their record up to 15-12. As for Willard, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Neosho will venture away from home to face off against Parkview at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Willard, they are taking a road trip to square off against Carl Junction at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
