Volleyball Recap: Valley Christian Beats Globe for Their Third Straight Victory

Valley Christian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Globe Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Tuesday.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Valley Christian was: they took every set by at least 17 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-8, 25-4.

Sydney Simon paced Valley Christian's offense, picking up nine kills. Simon got some help from Ansley Venkatesh and her 16 assists. Venkatesh was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Valley Christian's record is now 18-8. As for Globe, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-11.

Valley Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Thatcher on the 2nd. As for Globe, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Seton Catholic on the 2nd.
