Volleyball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Prairie Hawks. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Hawks when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Prairie, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Washington will square off against Cedar Falls at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prairie, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Mid-Prairie on the 13th.
