Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Triad Baptist Christian Academy made sure to put some goals up on the board against Greater Vision Academy on Friday. They blew past the Lions 9-0. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Titans' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Their offense was hitting Greater Vision Academy from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Ryleigh Collins led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

The win made it two in a row for Triad Baptist Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Faith Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Faith Christian took their victory against Triad Baptist Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Faith Christian since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
