Football Game Preview: Washington Township Minutemen vs. Kingsway Dragons + How To Watch

Washington Township is 2-8 against Kingsway since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Minutemen will host the Dragons at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Kingsway will be up against a hot Washington Township team: the squad just extended their winning streak to seven. The Minutemen put the hurt on Rancocas Valley with a sharp 38-17 victory on Friday. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Minutemen just coasted through the last quarter.

Colin Beeler continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 126 yards and a pair of TDs. Parker Reese was in the mix as well, providing Washington Township with one touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Washington Township was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 206 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Meanwhile, Kingsway got themselves on the board against Clearview on Friday, but Clearview never followed suit. They blew past the Pioneers, posting a 63-0 win. The Dragons have beaten the Pioneers the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Pioneers has come to flipping the script.

Washington Township's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Kingsway, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Washington Township strolled past Kingsway in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a score of 35-20. Will the Minutemen repeat their success, or do the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
