Centennial's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against the Liberty Patriots by a score of 3-1. For Centennial, this counts as revenge for the 4-1 victory Liberty walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2022.

Alayna Malloy and Skyley Mecham scored all three of Centennial's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Centennial has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored six goals over those two games. As for Liberty, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2-1.

Coincidentally, Centennial and Liberty will both be playing Lone Peak the next time they take the pitch. The Patriots will host the Knights at 5:45 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
