Eldorado made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Flora, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Eagles fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 6-4 on Thursday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Agape Christian ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Elverado 13-12. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since April 15, 2024.
Camden Reed was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Maddox Dillon and Will Staff did most of the damage at the plate: Dillon went 1-for-5 with three RBI and two runs, while Staff got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. Dillon is becoming a predictor of Agape Christian's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 0-5 when he doesn't). Jacob Miller also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Agape Christian's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-5. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average this season. As for Eldorado, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.
Agape Christian's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Eldorado hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .345.
