Softball Game Preview: Franklinton Red Rams vs. Green Hope Falcons

The Franklinton Red Rams will head out to challenge the Green Hope Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Franklinton has given up an average of 7.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Franklinton is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 12 runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against Northern Nash on Tuesday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 12-2.

Franklinton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailey Jo Helton, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Green Hope lost 15-3 to Apex Friendship on Tuesday. The Falcons have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meetings.

Franklinton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Green Hope, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
