Softball Recap: Moore Haven Comes Up Short

If Moore Haven was feeling good fresh off their 16-1 takedown of East Lee County on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Moore Haven fell 5-0 to the John Carroll Catholic Rams on Thursday. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Terriers were not able to get on the board.

Moore Haven's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for John Carroll Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Moore Haven is taking a road trip to face off against East Lee County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for John Carroll Catholic, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Key West at 11:00 a.m.
