Clinton Central scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They had to suffer through a 92-65 loss at the hands of the North Vermillion Falcons. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (56), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

North Vermillion found their leader in freshman Teagan Leonard, who made all 8 shots he took from beyond the arc to post 44 points and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Leonard has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Matthew Dawson, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.

Clinton Central dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for North Vermillion, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.

Clinton Central will take on Tri-Central in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Clinton Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. North Vermillion and Shakamak will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. North Vermillion is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 68.9 points per game this season.
