Basketball Recap: Leipsic Takes a Loss

Leipsic managed to slip by Columbus Grove the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Leipsic Vikings lost 80-60 to the Columbus Grove Bulldogs on Friday. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Leipsic has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Columbus Grove, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

When Leipsic and Columbus Grove next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Leipsic will try to stop Fort Jennings' three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Columbus Grove will try to stop Patrick Henry's six-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
