Basketball Recap: Freedom's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to 14

It's playoff time, and Freedom had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Wrightstown Tigers 84-59 on Thursday. The Irish have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 20 points or more this season.

The victory (which was Freedom's 14th in a row) raised their record to 22-1. As for Wrightstown, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Freedom will challenge Little Chute on Saturday. Freedom has given up an average of 52.1 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. Wrightstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
