Football Game Preview: Global Outreach Charter Academy Kodiaks vs. West Nassau Warriors

The Global Outreach Charter Academy Kodiaks will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the West Nassau Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

While Kodiaks fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Tuesday's season opener. They blew past Englewood 32-12 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, West Nassau took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They breezed past KIPP Bold City to the tune of 28-0.

Global Outreach Charter Academy better keep an eye on Danyelle Bell. She was instrumental in West Nassau's win, picking up 120 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Bell was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 60 yards. Another player making a difference was Payton Jefferson, who threw for 135 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes.

Global Outreach Charter Academy might still be hurting after the 27-7 loss they got from West Nassau in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can Global Outreach Charter Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
