Basketball Recap: Omak Has No Trouble Against Ephrata

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lakeside, Omak was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 46-28 win over the Ephrata Tigers. While the Pioneers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-9), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Omak pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Ephrata, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Omak will head out on the road to square off against Okanogan at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Ephrata, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Othello at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Ephrata is facing Othello at the right time seeing as Othello is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
