Basketball Recap: Six Straight Home Victories for Broadwater Academy

It's playoff time, and Broadwater Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They snuck past the Fuqua Falcons with a 50-45 win on Wednesday. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered a 46-25 loss the last time these two teams met.

Kacey Ford was the offensive standout of the match as she posted 23 points. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Adrianna Holloway was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Broadwater Academy's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7. As for Fuqua, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-17.

Broadwater Academy has already played their next game, a 47-37 defeat against Brunswick Academy on the 28th. Fuqua does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
