Volleyball Recap: Chula Vista's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Chula Vista posted their closest win since February 28th on Saturday. They skirted past the Imperial Tigers 2-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Spartans as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Chula Vista's win bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Imperial, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.

Imperial will take on Mar Vista in a tournament on Saturday. Chula Vista will be paying especially close attention to Imperial's contest: after Imperial faces off against Sweetwater, they'll take on Chula Vista again at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
