Softball Recap: Valley Park Hawks vs. Maplewood-Richmond Heights Blue Devils
Valley Park took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday (and then some). They were the clear victor by a 21-6 margin over the Maplewood-Richmond Heights Blue Devils. That's more bragging rights for the Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Adison Durbin made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Durbin was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with a home run, three runs, and three RBI.
