Volleyball Recap: Belvidere North Takes a Loss

Belvidere North extended their losing streak to four on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 1-18 in the process. They fell 2-0 to the Boylan Catholic Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in April.

As for Boylan Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season. The win was familiar territory for they, who have now won five matches in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Zach Lamkin, who had 11 assists and four digs.

Looking ahead, Belvidere North will head out to take on Antioch at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Boylan Catholic, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Grayslake North on the 16th.
