Pingree has gone 6-1 against Proctor Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Highlanders will head out on the road to challenge the Hornets. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pingree has three straight wins, Proctor Academy has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Saturday, Pingree was able to grind out a solid victory over Austin Prep, taking the game 29-17.

Meanwhile, Proctor Academy played a tough contest on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Hamden Hall Country Day 36-7. Proctor Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Pingree's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Proctor Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Pingree was able to grind out a solid victory over Proctor Academy in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, winning 20-13. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Highlanders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
