Volleyball Recap: Oroville Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Oroville challenged Paradise on Tuesday. The Tigers fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 3-2. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Oroville actually scored more points across those five sets (101-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 12-25, 21-25, 25-14, 26-24, 15-13.

Oroville's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Paradise, their victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-5.

Looking ahead, Oroville will face off against Pierce at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Paradise, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Paradise Adventist Academy on the 27th.
