Grain Valley won the last time they faced Raytown and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Bluejays with a sharp 13-2 win. Considering the Eagles have won nine matchups by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Grain Valley has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Raytown, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grain Valley will square off against Fort Osage at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Raytown, they will take on Belton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
