Softball Recap: Westridge Takes a Loss

Westridge came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 16-2 to the Flintridge Sacred Heart Tologs. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Tologs: they've now lost four in a row.

Westridge saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jadyn Manguera Shin, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Westridge fell to 3-1-1. As for Flintridge Sacred Heart, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Westridge will venture away from home to square off against Flintridge Prep at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Flintridge Sacred Heart, they will take on Tri-City Christian in a tournament on Thursday.
