Central Catholic waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 63-42 margin over the Andover Golden Warriors. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Golden Warriors are ranked 89th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Central Catholic's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Andover, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Catholic will take on Billerica Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Andover, they will square off against Dracut at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
