Gladstone extended their road winning streak to eight games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Lillie Johnson. The Gladstone Braves really took it to the Escanaba Eskymos for the full four quarters, racking up a 66-32 win thanks in part to Johnson, who dropped a double-double with 29 points and ten boards. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last three games she's played.

Eva Pankonien was another key player, putting up ten points along with eight boards and three steals. Those eight rebounds gave her a new career-high.

When it comes to explaining why Escanaba lost on Monday, don't look at Grayson Lamarche. Despite the final result, she posted nine points and six boards. Lily VanDamme also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Gladstone's victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Escanaba, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.

Gladstone didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-35 win against Menominee on the 12th. As for Escanaba, they will head out on the road to take on Ishpeming at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
