Hoggard had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Gray's Creek Bears 62-24 on Tuesday. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 20 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Hoggard's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tristan Shivers, who to rack up 18 points in addition to six assists and five boards. What's more, Shivers also posted a 78% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. AK Chance was another key player, en route to 15 points and five steals.

Hoggard's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.1 points. As for Gray's Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season.

Hoggard will host Green Level at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hoggard's defense has only allowed 24.6 points per game this season, so Green Level's offense will have their work cut out for them. Gray's Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
