Volleyball Game Preview: Taft Wildcats vs. Delano Tigers

Taft won the last time they faced Wasco and Karsynn Owens did her part to make sure it happened again. The Wildcats walked away with a 3-1 win over the Tigers on Tuesday thanks in part to Owens, who had 27 assists and 15 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22, 20-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Delano hadn't done well against McFarland recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 17, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Delano's win ended a six-match drought on the road and puts them at 15-12. As for Taft, their victory bumped their record up to 11-20.
