It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Carroll had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They skirted past the Columbia City Eagles 3-2. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Jaydon Capers paced Carroll's offense, picking up 16 kills. Capers got some help from Carter Papagiannis and his 23 assists. Jake McClurg controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Despite the loss, Columbia City still got an impressive performance from Sanders Tucker, who had 32 digs and six assists. Tucker is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 13 or more in each of the last seven games he's played.

Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 27-6. As for Columbia City, they moved to 22-6 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Carroll wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Carmel on the 23rd. Columbia City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
