Soccer Recap: Ridgeview Takes a Loss

Ridgeview lost against Abingdon back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolfpack came up short against the Falcons, falling 9-0. That's two games in a row now that Ridgeview have lost by exactly nine goals.

Ridgeview dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Abingdon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Coming up, Ridgeview will be playing in front of their home fans against John Battle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ridgeview are facing John Battle at the right time seeing as John Battle are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Abingdon, they will venture away from home to take on Gate City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gate City will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Abingdon surely won't give up without a fight.
