Baseball Recap: Houston County Takes a Loss

Houston County lost against McKenzie back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Houston County came up short against McKenzie, falling 11-4. The Fighting Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Houston County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryder Forrester, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Houston County's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for McKenzie, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.

While Houston County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
