Soccer Recap: Northern Highlands Comes Up Short

Northern Highlands lost against Tenafly back in November of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Highlanders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. While losing is never fun, Northern Highlands can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 85th, while Tenafly are ranked seventh).

Northern Highlands has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6-2 record this season. As for Tenafly, their victory bumped their record up to 11-0.

Coming up, Northern Highlands will head out to take on Passaic County Tech at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tenafly, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against NV - Old Tappan at 4:15 p.m.
