 The Kirtland Central Broncos will be staying on the road  on Thursday to face off against the Shiprock Chieftains at 3:00  p.m. Kirtland Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.6  runs per game  this season.
 On Wednesday, Kirtland Central came up short against Capital  and fell  12-9.
  Osai Garcia led a balanced group of hitters,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.  Jay Tsosie was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Shiprock suffered a  tough 13-2 loss at the hands of Aztec  on Tuesday.
 Kirtland Central now  has a losing record at 10-11. As for Shiprock, they dropped their record down to 6-12 with that  defeat, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
 Everything went Kirtland Central's way against Shiprock when the teams last played  on April 2nd as Kirtland Central made off with  a  19-4 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kirtland Central since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
