Seattle Prep hadn't done well against Lakeside recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Lions. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since March 18th.

The victory made it two in a row for Seattle Prep and bumps their season record up to 5-7. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Lakeside, they moved to 8-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Seattle Prep will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lions: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
