After a string of 11 wins, Wethersfield's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Illini Bluffs Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Flying Geese of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Chloe Eeten, who had 23 assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last 13 times she's played.

Wethersfield's loss dropped their record down to 15-2. As for Illini Bluffs, the win keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.
